It is with great pleasure that the Grey Bruce Humanists are hosting the OHS Annual General Meeting in Owen Sound on April 21st and 22nd.
Grey Bruce Humanists have also invited the Central Ontario Humanist Association to join us in this exciting event. Full AGM SCHEDULE here
Saturday April 21 plans include:
- luncheon provided by the Grey Bruce Humanists,
- a historic guided walk around Owen Sound,
- an afternoon of discussion (World Cafe style) on topics of interest to all Humanists,
- evening dinner at Yummy Yummy (a Japanese Thai Restaurant),
- followed by a production of Cabaret at the Roxy Theatre.
Sunday April 21
- there will be a continental breakfast and we have invited Author, Matthew Bin for a reading and discussion on his latest book, On Guard For Thee, Canadian Peacekeeping Missions.
Matt will be speaking on war, peace and Canada’s role in international peacekeeping. You can get more information about Matthew Bin at his website http://matthewbin.com/
Some of the Grey Bruce Humanists have graciously opened up their homes to billet people interested in attending. First come, first served. Please inquire.
