Notice of 2012 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Ontario Humanist Society
All members of the Ontario Humanist Society (OHS) are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting, to take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Downtown Book Store, at 945 2nd Ave E,. in Owen Sound, Ontario.
The AGM is free and open to all OHS members and no prior registration is required. However, you are asked to AGM 2012 Registration Form if you wish to attend the activities that follow the meeting.
The financial report for the year 2011 will be considered and the financial auditor for the year 2012 appointed. In addition, a proposed amendment to the Bylaws will be considered. You may download the OHS_AGM2012_bylaw_amendment, which includes an explanation for the changes proposed.
If you are not able to attend, please use the PROXY FORM 2012_AGM_rev and send it to the OHS postal or email address below.
Other business may be conducted at the meeting on motions brought forward and seconded by members in good standing. To be considered at the meeting, motions shall be received by March 23, 2012. Motions brought forward and received later than this, or without a seconder, must be voted on at a subsequent meeting
