On Wednesday, November 25, at 7:30 p.m., Dr. Desmond Morton, Professor Emeritus at McGill University Department of History, will deliver the Holtom Lecture: “Peacekeeping in 1763: How a Scottish General Appointed a Catholic Bishop in Quebec”.

This lecture is from the Holtom Lecture Series, which was created in memory of committed peace activist, Edith Holtom. Attendance is free.

The location is Unitarian Church, 30 Cleary Ave, Ottawa. (off Richmond Rd, just east of Woodroffe Ave., Bus #2). Question and answer session and refreshments to follow. Ample free parking.
